DreamWorks Animation takes on one of the biggest toy fads ever - the troll dolls! Working closely with DWA, the goal was to make their main title feel nice, soft and fuzzy. It was key to create a texture that felt playful and in the same world as these unique characters. A good amount of research and development went into figuring out how to create the best texture that would hold up for extreme close-ups as well as wide shots. All of their troll characters were composited with the final developed environment for this first introduction to the film. This teaser was also finished in stereoscopic 3D.
