TRAILER GRAPHICS
When designing graphics for this trailer it felt right to keep a dramatic, disconnected tone. Ben Affleck plays an accountant with a secret and dangerous life. Not only are puzzles used as a visual motif in the trailer, but they hint at all the different pieces that make up a person. This trailer is an interesting one because the main character doesn't have one word of dialogue - leaving it to the other elements to drive this piece. The graphics were developed by projecting the textures on a created puzzle rig that could be animated. Dark tones, directional lighting and deep shadows help with the mood of this teaser trailer.
These graphics were also used for marketing campaigns for broadcast, Instagram and as a special announcement banner ad on Apple TV when this first released.
