Software: After Effects | Cinema 4D - Physical Renderer
Michelangelo, the best ninja turtle and my first sculpting project!
All modeling and sculpting was done using C4D's internal tools. The diffuse chrome shader was created using the new reflectance system and the plastic shader was from GreyscaleGorilla's texture pack.
I was curious to push the limits of the physical renderer with the new reflectance system. No GI was involved and the lighting system was fairly simple. Just one area light as well as an HDR for added reflections.
The final composite was created using After Effects. Overall, I'm very happy with the capabilities of R16 and think it's impressive that all of these tasks can be done within one program. I look forward to testing out more features of this program and see what is possible!
This was a passion project for education and fun. I don't own the rights to the audio.
